AI Chat & Answering

Someone on the website while you are on the job

We set up a trained AI assistant on your site that answers questions, qualifies enquiries, and books time on your calendar.

See if it suits you

What this is, precisely

This is a setup service, not our own software. We install and configure an AI agent built by Skara, through Salesmate on your website, then train it on your business.

It handles the conversation a visitor would otherwise have to wait for: answering from the content you sync to it, asking follow-up questions to work out what the person needs, and booking a meeting on your calendar.

If you ask whether Skara does something specific and we don't know, we'll contact Salesmate directly to get an answer.

Honest fit

Who this is for

This is a service for sites that already get visitors. It multiplies traffic; it does not create it.

This fits if

  • Your website already gets steady visitors and you suspect some leave without calling.
  • You are out on jobs during the hours people browse, and the phone goes to voicemail.
  • You answer the same handful of questions over and over — hours, service area, what you take on.
  • You want enquiries qualified before they reach you.

This is wrong if

  • Almost nobody visits your website yet. Fix the traffic first with a better site or local search — an assistant on an empty site talks to nobody.
  • You want it to replace a person entirely. It handles the routine and hands over the rest.
  • You are not willing to give it accurate material. It answers from what you sync to it, so vague input produces vague answers.
What is included

What it does once we set it up

01

Answers from your own material

We sync your knowledge base, service pages, and policies so it answers from your business, not the open internet.

02

Qualifies before it hands over

It asks follow-up questions and collects the requirements, so what reaches you is already sorted.

03

Books meetings on your calendar

It shares your availability, handles the time-zone arithmetic, and schedules directly.

04

Routes the hot ones

High-intent enquiries go straight to the right person instead of sitting in a queue overnight.

05

Hands off with context

When a person steps in, they get the conversation summary and the customer's history.

06

Trained to sound like you

Tone and rules are yours to set. We configure it with you, and you review the conversations it has.

How it works

Three markers to going live

1

We gather what it needs

Your services, service area, hours, prices policy, and the questions you are tired of answering.

2

We set it up and train it

Installed on your site, synced to your material, and set to your tone and your handover rules.

3

You read the transcripts

For the first weeks you review real conversations and tell us what it got wrong. That is what makes it good.

What it costs

What the price depends on

There are two parts. The vendor charges a subscription for the agent itself — Salesmate's price, on their plan, which we point you at rather than mark up quietly.

Our part is setup and training: gathering your material, configuring the rules and handover conditions, and tuning it over the first weeks against real conversations. How much of that there is depends on how many services you offer.

If your site doesn't get enough visitors for this to pay for itself, we'll tell you to spend your money on traffic first.

What to expect

From decision to live

  • Week one — gathering

We collect your services, policies, hours, and the material it answers from. This is the part that needs you.

  • Week two — configuration

Installed, synced, and set to your tone and escalation rules. Tested against the questions you actually get.

  • Weeks three and four — tuning

It goes live and you read the transcripts. We correct what it gets wrong. Most of the quality comes from this.

  • Ongoing

Refresh what it knows when your services or coverage change. Stale material is the main failure mode.

Trail questions

About the assistant

Can it answer the phone as well as the website? +
Not today. The vendor lists chat, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp as live channels, with voice, SMS, and RCS marked as upcoming.
What happens when it does not know the answer? +
It hands over to a person, who gets the conversation summary and the customer's context rather than starting cold. You set the conditions for that handover.
Will customers know they are talking to a bot? +
You decide how it introduces itself, and we advise being straight about it. Pretending otherwise loses the trust the rest of your site is working to build.
Can it talk to customers in other languages? +
Yes — the vendor publishes support for over a hundred languages across its channels. Whether that matters depends entirely on who your customers are.
Where does my customer data go? +
The vendor states that data is stored in your environment, is not shared with third parties, and is compliant with GDPR and SOC 2. Those are their published claims; read their terms before you sign.

Start with a site worth visiting

An assistant on a slow, thin website has nobody to talk to. Start there if that is where you are.

Ask whether it would earn its keep

Tell us how much traffic your site gets and what questions you keep answering. We will tell you honestly whether this pays.
