Reach the people looking for you today

Search ads put you in front of someone who is typing your service into their phone right now. Nothing else works that fast.

Talk it through

What you are buying

Google Ads buys you a place at the top of the results page for searches you choose. Somebody types “emergency plumber” at eleven at night, your ad is the first thing they see, and you pay only when they click it. That is the whole mechanism.

What makes it work or fail is everything around the mechanism: which searches you show up for, which ones you block, what the ad says, and where it sends people. An account can spend a full budget on searches that were never going to become customers, and the reports will still look busy. Most of the accounts we take over are doing exactly that.

Here is the part most agencies leave vague. There are two separate amounts of money: what Google charges for clicks, and what we charge to manage the account. They are different bills. The ad spend goes on your card, in your account, and you can see every penny of it. We never touch your money — we only decide how it gets spent, and you can watch us do it.

Honest fit

Who this is for

Ads reward businesses that can answer the phone and price a job. They punish everyone else.

This fits if

  • People are searching for what you do with intent to hire: repairs, emergencies, quotes, installations, etc.
  • You can fund a budget consistently for at least three months. Stop-start spending never gets past Google's learning phase.
  • Someone on your team answers the phone quickly. A click you paid for that rings out is money set on fire.
  • A single new customer is worth more than a handful of clicks.

This is wrong if

  • Your budget is below your market's click cost. Some trades are expensive per click and a thin budget buys too little data to steer by.
  • Nobody is searching for what you're selling yet. If the demand is not there, ads cannot create it — Facebook is the tool for that job.
  • The first weeks are when the Google Ads account is learning; judging then tells you nothing.
  • Your website does not convert. Sending paid traffic to a page that does not work is the most expensive mistake in marketing.
What is included

How the account is run

01

Your account, your card

We build it inside an account you own. If we ever part ways, the account, the history, and the data stay with you.

02

Keyword work both ways

Choosing what you show up for matters, but blocking what you do not is where most wasted spend actually goes.

03

Ads written for the trade

Ad copy that says what you do, where you do it, and why to call.

04

Landing pages that match

The page has to answer the search. Sending every ad to your homepage is the fastest way to waste a budget.

05

Call and form tracking

Every call and every form tied back to the search that produced it, so the numbers mean something.

06

Monthly review in English

What you spent, what came in, what we changed, and what we plan next. Short enough that you will actually read it.

How it works

Three markers to a working account

1

We size the market

What people search, what a click costs in your area, and roughly what volume a given budget buys. If the numbers do not work, we say so here.

2

We build and launch

Account structure, keywords, negatives, ads, landing pages, and tracking — then live. Usually within a week or two of go-ahead.

3

We tune it down

The first month is mostly cutting: blocking searches that waste money and shifting budget toward the ones producing calls.

What it costs

Two numbers, kept separate

The first is ad spend — what Google charges for clicks. That goes on your card, in your account, and you set it. You can raise it, lower it, or pause it whenever you like.

The second is our management fee for running the account. It depends on how many campaigns and service areas there are and how much building the pages takes. It does not change based on how much you spend, because a fee that rises with your spend gives us a reason to spend more of your money.

There is a workable floor below which a budget cannot buy enough data to steer by, and it varies a lot by trade and city. We'll tell you what that floor is in your market, and what the fee would be, once we've looked at what you're trying to do.

What to expect

How the first months go

  • Week one — build

Research, account structure, ads, landing pages, and tracking. Nothing spends until the tracking is confirmed working.

  • Weeks two to four — live and learning

Calls start arriving. So do irrelevant clicks — that is normal and it is what the negative keyword work feeds on.

  • Month two — tightening

Wasted spend gets cut, the ads that pull ahead get more budget, and the cost per call usually falls noticeably.

  • Month three onward — steady

By now the cost per call is predictable enough to make decisions with. This is when you can honestly judge whether it pays.

Trail questions

About running ads

Who owns the ad account? +
You do. We build in your account with your billing on it. Agencies that keep the account in their own name keep your data too, and we will not do that to you.
Do you take a cut of my ad spend? +
No. The fee is for managing the account and it is separate from what Google charges you. A percentage-of-spend model rewards us for spending more of your money, which is exactly the wrong incentive.
Why did my last agency's ads not work? +
Usually one of three things: no negative keywords, so the budget went to searches that were never customers; every ad pointed at the homepage; or nothing was tracked, so nobody knew which half was working.
How quickly will the phone ring? +
Within days of launch, usually. Whether those calls are profitable takes a few weeks of tuning to establish, which is why we ask for three months before you judge it.
Can I pause the ads when I am busy? +
Yes, and seasonal businesses should. Tell us and we pause. Restarting takes a short re-learning period, so short pauses cost more than they look like they do.

Ads stop the day you stop paying

Search rankings keep working after the spending stops. Most businesses want both, in that order.
